About the Role
Yahasoft Inc. is looking for a dedicated Software Engineer to join our team. We specialize in data systems for Early Intervention. In this role, you will help maintain and enhance critical applications that support government agencies and improve outcomes for families and patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Application Development: Design, develop, maintain, and upgrade web applications and data systems using Legacy ASP.NET, VB.NET, and Oracle SQL within a Visual Studio environment.

  • Code Quality: Write clean, secure, and easily maintainable code to ensure long-term system stability.

  • Client Collaboration: Act as a technical liaison, communicating directly with clients to translate complex technical concepts into clear, non-technical explanations.

  • Project Management: Operate effectively within an Agile environment using Jira. You will be expected to handle tasks independently while also collaborating with the wider team on large-scale integrations.

  • Support: Provide technical support to end-users to resolve issues and improve data accuracy.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science (CS).

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong command of VB.NET, ASP.NET, Oracle SQL, and jQuery.

  • Process: Proven experience working in Agile development methodologies.

​

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with State-level government programs.

  • Knowledge of HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) and FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act) compliance standards.
